Folune is an app for reading ebooks and listening to audiobooks. It is built so that your library belongs only to you.
We don’t collect personal data. Folune has no accounts, ads or trackers.
To learn which features are used and where the app can improve, Folune sends anonymous usage statistics through TelemetryDeck (EU): events such as “a book was opened” or “a purchase completed”, together with the app and iOS version, language and coarse ranges (for example “library of 21–100 books”). These signals contain no user ID, no IP address and nothing about your books — no titles, authors, text, notes or file names — and they can’t be linked to you. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share Anonymous Usage.
If you turn on sync, your library, progress, bookmarks, notes and covers are stored in your private iCloud database, and — if you choose — book files in your iCloud Drive. Only your Apple Account can access this data; the developer cannot. Apple processes it under the Apple Privacy Policy. Turning sync off never deletes data from your device; you can delete the iCloud copy in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Folune Plus is a one-time purchase handled by Apple through the App Store; there are no subscriptions. We never see your payment details; the app only receives Apple’s confirmation that a purchase is active.
Folune is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, children included.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
