Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

Scriptkeep ("the app", "we") helps you memorize Scripture. The verses you keep, and anything you type, stay yours.

What we collect

The app has no accounts, no advertising, no tracking and no servers that receive your content.

Anonymous usage statistics. To learn whether the app helps people, it sends a small set of anonymous events through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics provider: onboarding started or completed, a verse added (and whether it came from the built-in Bible or your own text), your first verse learned, a review started or completed (with a rough count of verses due), a verse reaching Kept, the Premium screen shown or closed (and where), and a trial or purchase started (annual or lifetime). Events use a random identifier that TelemetryDeck hashes and that is not linked to your identity; IP addresses are not stored. They never include verse references, verse text, anything you type or search for. You can turn this off at any time in Settings › Share anonymous usage stats.

What stays on your device

Your verses, your own typed text, review history and settings are stored on your iPhone. If iCloud is on for the app, Apple keeps a copy in your private iCloud database, which only you can access; verse text you type yourself is encrypted by Apple before it leaves your device. We cannot see this data.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. The app only learns from Apple whether you have Premium. We never receive your name, email or payment details.

Notifications

Review reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. iCloud may use Apple's silent notifications to keep your devices in sync; we do not send notifications ourselves.

Diagnostics

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous usage and crash statistics. You control this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Your choices

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
